chapter 11 'tournament'

night fell and blix turned into his wolf form and woke up. james was watching tv in the chair right next to the couch with riolu. yoshi was eating the waxfruit in the fruit bowl. blix asked "what time is it?". james looked at his watch and said "9:30 we better get to the arena now". blix nodded, looked at yoshi and asked "yoshi...you do know those are fake right?". yoshi looked at the wax fruit and said "now wonder why they taste bad" and took another bite of asked "why are you still eating that you just found out that was wax?". yoshi shrugged and continued eating the wax fruit. riolu said "arnt we gonna go?". blix nodded and grabbed his keys and yoshi and went to the car. riolu walked out right after and james locked the door on his way out. later at the arena blix got out and said "well here we are". james looked at the place and took a deep breath and said "ahh the memories". riolu came out of the car and said "you used to come here alot?". james said "i used to be a fight manager for some fighters...untill they......you know". "die?"blix said with an unsure tone. james nodded and kept moving to the arena. riolu looked at blix and said "are you sure about this?". blix said "well either i do this and get money or die.....or not do this andwe starve to death because we cant stay with james forever". riolu said "id go for getting the money" and followed james inside. blix then took yoshi and went inside. later in the beginning of the tornament the announcer looked at blix and said "whats your name kid?". "my name is blix" blix answered. the announcer nodded and took his mic and said "ladies and gentleman putyour hands together for this years fighting tornament". the crowd cheered with over exitement. "heres our first fight of the match....blix and basher!" the crowd started cheering for basher as he came out of the gate, he was an 8 foot high rhino ready to kick ass. basher looked at blix and laughed "this thing is my opponent?". "this jackass is my opponent?" blix said in a smartass tone. basher got mad and said "i was gonna let you live but seeing you want to die...." basher said going to his corner. blix went to his corner where yoshi riolu and james were waiting for him. "you just had to say that did you" riolu said. "hey he got on my nerves" blix said. "dont mind him blix just go in there and dont die" james said. "how long did those fighters last when you was thier manager anyway" riolu asked. "not even going to the second round.....why?" james said. yoshi started to wander and leave while everyone wasnt looking. riolu said "blix are you really sure about this?" in a worried tone. blix looked at james and said "did you really have to answer that?". "he wanted to know" james answered. the announcer came over to blix and said "make this a fair fight and try not to get blood on the ring we just cleaned it". blix rollled his eyes and said "whens the fight gonna start?". the announcer said "hold up" and went to the middle of the ring. "are the fighters ready?" the announcer said waiting for blix and basher to be ready. "GO!" the announcer yelled as blix and bahser ran at eachother. blix extended his claws and attempted a strike but before he could do that he got smashed into the ground by bahsers horn. "you shouldve stayed home kid" basher said crushing blix. "well i cant open dimensional portals can i?" blix said. just then blix's eyes turned a deep red just as he had a rush of strenght and threw basher off of him. "no way your that strong!" basher said annoyed. "well this is gonna be fun" blix said getting up. "wow hes strong" james said to riolu. "well that explains how he broke out of that place" riolu said. "broke out of what?" james asked. riolu quickly changed the subject and said "wheres yoshi?". james looked around and saw yoshi in the crowd eating the peoples food. james facepalmed and went to go get him. blix dashed toward basher at high speed and ramed his stomach. bahser fell over out of breath. blix then said "you shouldve stayed home" and sliced bashers chest wide open. basher was trying to breathe when blix raised his paw again. riolu watched in excitement, james was trying to get yoshi out of the stands. blix ripped out bashers heart with one powerful strike. bahser took his last breath and said "there is no way..." then died. blixs eyes turned normal as he looked at bashers dead body and went back to riolu. riolu looked in awe and said "that was awesome! do it again!". blix shook his head and said "wait till next match". james came back with yoshi in his arms and said "you actually made it to the second round?". blix nodded and said "and i still have a whole lot more fighting to go". james said "well lets hope you win". yoshi said "can we get something to eat?". blix nodded and said "yeah lets go eat". then blix riolu james and yoshi went to goto the stands to get some food.
